When you switch your home to Bulb, we’ll refund exit fees up to £60 per fuel, if your old supplier charges you for leaving.
You can request a refund in your Bulb account. We’ll need a copy of your final bill as proof of exit fees. Please make sure the address, bill date and exit fee charges are clearly displayed.
Once approved, we’ll credit your Bulb account within 2 days.
If you leave your previous supplier with 49 days or less left on your contract, they shouldn't charge exit fees. But if you are charged, we’ll refund them.
If you have outstanding payments
We only refund exit fees. All members will need to settle any outstanding payments for their energy usage with their previous supplier.
We don't refund exit fees for businesses
We only refund exit fees for members switching their home to Bulb.
