Why have you asked for a photo of my meter?

We usually ask for a photo of your meter to identify which meter is yours. Luckily it’s very easy to find out.

All we need is the serial number of the meter, which is written on the front of it. The serial number will also be on an old bill, so if you would prefer to send us a copy of a bill, please feel free.
