Your generation meter records how much energy your installation is generating. It will be connected to your installation and will give you a reading in kilowatt hours (kWh).

This meter will be separate from your normal electricity supply meter. It was installed at the same time as your renewable installation.

If you are unsure which meter is your generation meter, you can find your generation meter serial number on your MCS certificate and check if it matches the serial number on the front of the meter.

If you’re still unsure, ask your installer or email Bulb with some photos of your meter for us to check.

As a FIT licensee, we're required by Ofgem to take reasonable steps to verify the generation of your meter at least every 2 years.
