The Feed-in Tariff (FIT) ended on 1 April 2019

The government's Feed-in Tariff scheme closed on 1 April 2019. This means that all renewable power generation installations certified after that date won't be eligible for the 20-year payment scheme.

If you’ve already signed up, you’ll continue to receive payments

If you're already signed up to receive FIT payments from Bulb, you'll continue to receive payments until the end of your 20 year eligibility period.

Your certification date is on your MCS certificate

Your certification date is the date your installation certificate was produced. It's found on the top of your MCS certificate. This should've been given to you by your installer in your Handover Pack.

You can still switch your Feed-in Tariff to a different licensee

The FIT end date only applies to registering new systems, so you'll still be able to switch to any FIT licensee. You can apply to change your FIT payments to Bulb in your Bulb account.
