Your distribution network operator (DNO) owns and operates the power lines and infrastructure connecting your property to the electricity transmission network.
You can look up your electricity network operator by postcode. You can also contact them by dialling 105 on your home phone and asking to be put through directly.
You will need to contact them if:
- you've experienced a power cut and want the most up-to-date information
- you want to move your meters more than 1 metre (3 feet) or to the other side of a wall
You can look up your gas network operator using your address. You can also call the Meter Point Administration Service on 0870 608 1524.
If you smell gas and are concerned, call 0800 111 999.
